HIGHSPEEDONTARIO.com - Small Business High Speed Internet Access
I always get comments on putting up pictures of past high speed satellite installs. So I snapped a picture and posted this one in Alliston Ontario. The post mount is necessary for many reasons such as roof is made of Cedar Shakes or metal. But the best answer is when the dish gets covered in snow, you do not have to climb a slippery roof to clean it. This post mount is 6 feet off the ground.

Sign of the times are changing
Who would of thought that High-Speed Internet access would be on the top of the "I can't get through life without it" list. Intrestingly, is the fact that the average Canadaian would rather give up DVD's, TV, Cable, Land Telephone, Cell Phone, even the Blackberry, food but not a Hi Speed Interent Access!!! All of which are replaceable with a headset and a high speed broadband line!!
I guess being an ISP (Internet Service Provider) is topping the list of recession proof businesses... who would of thought of that 10 years ago???

High Speed Internet Access food for thought...
Sign of the times, the latest economic data indicates that the average person, when in times of budget cut backs will choose to cut almost anything out of the budget except for a hi-speed internet connection.
Everyone is talking about being in a 'recession proof ' buisness such as the 'hair cuts 'and 'soup' business but you can now add to the list 'connection to the interent' being one of the most important needs of Canadaians today.
And shaking around the world are financial wizards trying to figure out where to put your money and where not too.
If I was a land line telephone company like Bell or Telus, or a cable provider such as Rogers, knowing that the first thing to being chopped out of the average Canadian budget, will be land lines, cell lines and cable tv, I would be shaking too!! Luckily, they are in the interent business and most likely see the interent portion of their revenue stay the same or increase modestly.
But if I were to cut my green foot print, today working from home, all you need is a good high speed interent provider and you can eliminate the land phone, cable, cell phone costs and do it all from the comfort of my laptop!!
Gone are the days of TV and long distance phone charges, bring on the YouTube, Facebook, Ipod generation, as they are now going to lead us out of this recession in a high speed way.

High Speed Internet Access required for Metallica Down Load of Death Magnetic
Well if you are stuck on dial up forget it, but our high speed internet connection proved valuable when in 17 minutes the new album was sent to our inbox!!! Thanks www.highspeedontario.com !! The album came in 320Kb/s MP3 format and at 170MB in size you do the math how long that would take to download at 32Kbs dial speed!!! This is a great example of how the new digital medium is going to un-fold. If you are an old schooler and like Metal this new album is well over due!!
Thanks to www.highspeedontario.com for making this connection to the information highway!!!!!
